the IDEA

We created a website for one of Russia’s largest beer store chains. It goes beyond merely showcasing products, incorporating a variety of unique features that make it truly stand out from the competition. It delivers a comprehensive approach to both user experience and business solutions.

One of the site’s most carefully thought-out features is the content filtering system for minors. Many websites in this industry use a standard popup asking: “Are you 18 years old?” If the user answers “no,” access to the site is usually simply blocked. However, we implemented a different approach: upon a negative answer, the site remains accessible, but with restricted access to sections related to alcoholic beverages.

the VIEW

A warm and “beer-inspired” color palette was used for the website’s design. Yellow-gold sets the primary visual tone and mood. It reminisces the color of beer, malt, and amber. The darker section of the palette gives the design a more “bar-like” feel: evoking the sensation of wood, dark beer, and an evening establishment.
